Daniel provides psychological therapy for children, adolescents, adults, older adults, couples and families.
His approach is warm, respectful, collaborative and evidence-informed. He aims to provide thoughtful psychological care that helps clients better understand their difficulties, recognise their strengths and develop practical ways of responding to life’s challenges.
Early sessions focus on developing a clear understanding of each person’s concerns, history, goals, motivations for change and current circumstances. Daniel then works collaboratively with clients to tailor therapy to their needs, values, developmental stage, cultural background and life context.

Therapeutic Approach
Daniel uses an integrative, evidence-informed approach to therapy. Depending on the needs and goals of the client, he may draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), EMDR therapy, Schema Therapy, Brainspotting, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness-based approaches, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and trauma-informed interventions.
Daniel also has training in creative, experiential and developmentally sensitive approaches, including play-based, art-based, sandtray and adventure therapy approaches.
Psychological Assessment
Daniel has experience in selecting, administering, interpreting and reporting on a range of psychological measures, including diagnostic, cognitive, behavioural, learning, personality, distress, alcohol and other drug, and risk-related assessments.
He also has experience in the assessment and management of suicide risk and risk of harm to self or others.
Professional Supervision
Daniel is a Psychology Board of Australia board-approved supervisor for the clinical psychology registrar program.
